A future-focused AI-XR education program that supports schools in teaching digital mental health, immersive literacy, AI safety, and AI-XR Future Skills — helping students navigate the digital world they live in while building future skills through playful, immersive learning.
On average, Gen Z spends over 55 hours per week online across social media, video streaming platforms, and various digital applications, with more than 12 of those hours dedicated to video games and VR (NewZoo, 2021; Vice Media, 2022). Much of this engagement stems from a desire to 'escape' and manage stress or anxiety.
MirrorXR seeks to redirect these less healthy habits toward a more purposeful and positive use of technology. By providing an engaging, interactive medium that students already enjoy, MirrorXR allows them to learn, grow, and immerse themselves in experiences that both entertain and enrich, aligning their interests with MirrorXR’s educational and developmental goals.
Every learning experience is mapped to the F–10 Australian Curriculum V9 and the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE), so teachers can confidently integrate Mirror XR without adding extra workload or straying from core outcomes.
Mirror XR is not just about using the latest tools; it transforms how students learn by combining cutting-edge research in AI, XR, gaming psychology, and education into hands-on, curriculum-aligned activities. This approach turns emerging academic findings into practical strategies that work in real classrooms.
Designed and developed in consultation with clinical psychologists and mental health professionals, Mirror XR prioritises student wellbeing, helping to create safe, positive learning experiences that support emotional as well as academic growth.
Our program meets the standards of the eSafety Commissioner, the National Mental Health Commission’s National Children’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy, and the South Australian Digital Strategy 2023–2026, ensuring schools stay ahead while meeting local and national guidelines.
Mirror XR is built to grow alongside your school. We refine the program not only through teacher feedback, but also by staying ahead of curriculum changes, incorporating the latest research, and adapting to new policies and technologies. This way, schools can trust Mirror XR will always stay relevant, effective, and ready for the future.
No, we will bring the tech installation into your schools.
While teachers do not have prior understanding of the technology to start with, we encourage teachers to join our teacher's PD program designed to equip and empower teachers as in school agent of change as part of our whole-of-school approach.
We will have AI-XR EdTech facilitators during the incursion workshops, teachers are encouraged to be familiar with the delivery of content for 8 weeks post incursion in-class facilitation.
We would love to work with 3 primary schools and 3 secondary schools for our pilot program at no cost with the potential of ongoing partnership and implementation of Mirror XR EdTech School Programs with pilot schools in the coming years.
In return, we would love to gather authentic feedback and co-write a study case based on the pilot programs for continous iterations and further implementations.
We bring world-class new technology pedagogy into your school with a plug and play model, that means you do not need to have an XR lab for our program to run in your school.
We will run the teaching and facilitation of EdTech program alongside you, that means your teaching staff do not need prior knowledge or specific technical skills.
Our education model emphasises an intergenerational, whole-of-community approach. To maximise impact, we recommend implementing the whole-of-school program impartially, ensuring that parents and teachers are equipped to empower students in navigating their digital lives and fostering digital mental health.
